On August 2nd, 2013, Portland, Maine's SPACE Gallery invited visitors to "join us for an exploratory hour of yoga to the LIVE accompaniment of ambient sounds by three different recording artists. Proud/Father is an all tape recording project from the ruins of New Orleans, Louisiana, featuring noise bursts, tape collages, washes of distortion/reverb, and analogue synthesizers. Burlington, NC's Lost Trail is the ambient/drone/noise/shoegaze project of husband and wife duo Zachary and Denny Corsa, that utilizes lo-fi and obsolete recording technology to evoke both man-made and natural environments. Remy Brecht's set touches on experimental noise, ritual ambient, drone, and esoteric world flourishes. Three 20-minute sessions of music and yoga, led by an instructor, will be an experiment in harsh beauty and meditation amidst chaos."
